What is kawaii?
When we think of kawaii we think of Japan, the original meaning of kawaii has evolved and became something we refer to as being cute. Things like Hello Kitty, pink hearts and of course anime is super cute or kawaii! But in Japan culture kawaii is so much more and can be found anywhere from fashion and art to music and lifestyle.
Interesting thing about kawaii is that it can be so simple, most if not all cute characters are often designed with disproportional big eyes, head and a tiny nose with little to no facial expression.
But as we have said before it is not all about characters and we have found great examples of all sorts of kawaii handmade products to expand your horizons. They are all adorable, lovely and pretty, ready to touch your heart!
